This boutique was voted best in Detroit for women s fashions by Detroit Monthly. Known for stocking the latest fashion trends for stylish women over 25, the store has a mixture of active and sportswear, cocktail, outerwear and accessories from European and American well-know designers. Some lines are exclusive to Michigan. They change their showroom often and do not stock old merchandise. Currently most advertising is done by email and direct mail to their own extensive mailing list. After 35 years, the original owner wishes to retire completing an extensive retail career.

Facilities: This 3,000 square foot store has very attractive window displays, signage and store fixtures and is located in a prime strip center with other well known national and local destination stores. The inventory is always very trendy, current and arranged to attract. There is good foot traffic from the other stores and restaurants. The current lease expires January 31, 2011.

Competition: There are a small number of independent high fashion women s boutiques in Oakland County but nothing in the immediate area. The three most prominent stores are east and west of this location. Since the boutique features a few exclusive lies, women have more incentive to return. In addition, they have an extensive customer list with long standing loyal customers.

Growth/Expansion: There is an active web site that could be expanded to include e-trade. Some of the stores original jewelry would make a good test case. The store hours might be increased to include evenings and/or Sunday.

Support/Training: The seller is willing to provide 80 hours of training over a two week period immediately following the closing or more if necessary per mutual agreement. In addition, the seller will assist with at least one buying trip.
