Niche Composites Manufacturer

Niche manufacturer of molded composite products: seeking a partner/employee who has the means to transition into majority, and ultimately, full ownership. Strong manufacturing/operations background would be ideal. Employment position would be General Manager with a focus on operations. Niche products allow us to function in less competitive markets without an Asian threat. We have recently tooled up a number of new programs that project to double our sales in 2010. We envision an experienced manufacturing professional with a penchant for ownership, but perhaps not the means to fund that dream in this economy. We need that talent to take our business to the next level and we also need a shot of equity. The current owner has no family in the business and there is not an established successor this solves that situation as well. The current owner would like to remain active in a sales and engineering role through the transition perhaps five years and beyond. This is clearly a different kind of listing I am looking for the right partner to help realize the profits from all the hard work of establishing this enterprise.

Facilities: Primary assets are large molding presses, support equipment, material handling equipment and maintenance tools.

Competition: Producing niche products limits the competative forces. Asian competition does not exist.

Growth/Expansion: We expect to double in 2010 without having to add any large assets.

Support/Training: The current owner desires to remain with the business in a sales and engineering role
