An established art gallery specializing in Native American and Western Art is for sale. We are located on beautiful NW 23rd street in the trendy Nob Hill neighborhood of Portland. For the past seven years Bonnie Kahn s has represented over 100 Native American Tribes and has worked for over three decades building relationships with tribal members, museums and many clients. Sale includes mailing list, fixtures, web site and $10,000 worth of inventory. Lease not included.

Facilities: The sale includes gallery fixtures including three glass jewelry cases, a tall glass display case, two glass shelves, a wooden armoire style display case, two portlfolio drawers, two large wooden desks, filing cabinets, chairs, and shelves. Consignment contracts are transferable at the new owners and consignor's discretion. The gallery is located in a historical house. The rent is at $2500 per month and includes an off-street driveway large enoughfor two cars (up to negotiation with landlord).

Competition: The business is in a prime location on NW 23rd . We are unique in that we feature Contemporary Native American artists with an emphasis on buliding bridges between cultures. Through a diverse offering of lectures and workshops we have built a strong community. We have a few friendly competitors in town. Arthur Erickson is located downtown and specializes in antiques. He often helps us with appraisals and we refer clients between us. Quintana Gallery is another friendly competitor with a focus on Northwest Indigenous Art.

Growth/Expansion: There are limitless possibilities for expanding inventory and services to the community including appraisals and collections management. We will give you the space and established clientele to achieve success.

Support/Training: We will offer the new owner an introduction to the inventory, clients, and consignors. We will orient the owner on how the gallery is currently organized and provide an orientation on how to maintain the web-site. Alternatively you may opt to hire the current assistant.

Reason Selling: The owner is ready to retire from the art gallery to become a life coach.
