The Convention Center was a new construction single story concrete and steel building which opened its doors on April 30, 1999. Its 16,000 sq ft footprint can/is divided into approximately 3 equal sections via soundproof moveable walls which allows the use of the whole building when desired as one large complex. The owners have dedicated one section of the building the lounge/bar which is open daily at noon and State law requires them to close by 2:00 a.m. Upon opening the facility the owners started accepting bookings for its use. Health problems has caused the owners to back-off this hectic schedule the last few years, so the businesses are now closed on Sundays and Mondays, not doing weddings and are very selective on the functions they do rent to.
